Day 1

On arrival, you will be met by a representative of George Steuart and transferred to Anuradhapura. Your comfortable transition will also provide a number of diverse views of Sri Lanka.

After checking in to the hotel, you have the choice of taking a relaxing dip in the pool or revitalizing treatment at the hotel spa, before sitting down for dinner.

Day 2

Leisurely tuck into your breakfast before taking to investigate the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

Day 3

After an indulging breakfast, you will resume your tour and your transfer to Polonnaruwa will take place immediately.

As a result, the city maintains numerous irrigation systems which boast the use of unparalleled hydraulic technology fascinating to your millennial mind. Bearing South Indian influence, the artistry of this period remains intricate and exquisite.

Make way around the city on cycle and discover intriguing vestiges of an early empire.

In the evening, unwind completely by the pool and enjoy the picture perfect beauty of a setting sun before heading to sit for dinner.

Day 4

After hefty breakfast, take an exciting excursion to Minneriya National Park.

Highlight - sustaining on the water supplied by the Minneriya Tank, the Minneriya National Park is home to a number of animals. A spectacular delight for wildlife enthusiasts, the park is habited by the Sri Lankan Leopard, the Sloth Bear, Salt Water Crocodile and various other precious animals. The park functions as a refuge for elephants from adjacent districts during drought season.

At the end of your safari, return to the hotel and recuperate before making your way to the restaurant for dinner.

Day 5 

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy.

Highlight – Upholding an aura of regality, the city Kandy remains timeless. It~s pre-colonial charm, enriched by its lush green surroundings entices the visitor with attractive views of the city. The celebrated Dalada Maligawa, the picturesque gardens of Peradeniya and the Royal Palace are set to make you fall in love with the charming city of Kandy. 

En route you also have the option of Exploring the Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Highlight: A marveling structure of military architecture, Sigirya is a state of the art fortress built on a large boulder. Exhibiting features of the modern day metropolis, Sigiriya is finished with water pools, gardens, frescoes and mechanisms of defense. 

Once you reach the hotel, take a break. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the region while you are dining.

Day 6 

A visit to the Temple of the Tooth and the Royal Botanical Gardens will take place immediately after breakfast. 

Highlight – stroll through miles and miles of landscaped greenery at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Laid out with a variety of colorful flowers and plants, the gardens are said to resonate ‘the Gardens of Eden’. The Spice Garden and Orchid House here are a favorite of both the native and international traveler. 

Continue your interesting day trip by visiting Arts & Crafts workshop, Oriental Market Place, Bazaar and Gem Lapidary.

Subsequently, get back to the hotel and refresh before heading for dinner.

Day 7 

After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya. En-route visit a tea plantation and tea factory to see how tea is plucked and a factory to witness the processing of the raw green leaf to the final graded product. 

Highlight – fondly referred to as Little England, Nuwara Eliya embodies the cozy atmosphere of an English countryside. Filled with acres of luscious plantation, the region is internationally known for producing high-quality tea. Its rich green valleys enhanced with plummeting waterfalls reveals an enthralling mystical splendor. Red or green roofed plantation bungalows, English country style homes and hotels with lovely flower gardens, a fine 18-hole golf course and a racecourse gives Nuwara Eliya a decidedly British character.

Bask in the innate grandeur of Nuwara Eliya by taking an exhilarating city tour in the evening. 

At the end of your outing return to the hotel where you will be received with a warm meal before you retire for the day.

Day 8 

Breakfast at the hotel or you have the option of leaving early morning with a packed breakfast on a trekking excursion to Horton Plains

Take a small break at Ramboda falls and relish in the panoramic view of the setting. A visit to the Hakgala Botanic Gardens is also recommended.

You have the choice of reminiscing your day with a warm cup of tea at a High Tea courtesy the hotel or over a hot meal served at night by the hotel.

Day 9 

Eat a delicious breakfast served outdoors before taking a scenic drive to Udawalawa via Ella. Here you can commence on an invigorating hike to Little Adams Peak and grasp the stunning panorama of the Ella Gap.

As the day passes on you will reach Embilipitiya nearing dusk. In time to experience the exquisite spectacle of a setting sun overlooking the Chandrika Lake from your hotel. Watch in vivid motion the sky glittering in vibrant hues as the day silently converts into the night.

Refresh before sitting down for dinner. 

Overnight stay in Udawalawa.

Day 10 

After breakfast, take a thrilling expedition to Udawalawa National Park.

Highlight - Hosting herds of elephants, wild buffaloes, sambar deer and leopards, the Uda Walawe National Park is a local national park with the capacity to rival the savannah reserves of Africa. Ideal for elephant-watching, the park which centers on the large Uda Walawe Reservoir is lightly vegetated making game-watching easy.

At the end of your safari return to the hotel for relaxing shower and a hot meal.

Day 11 

After breakfast, transfer to Bentota.

Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, an established sea turtle conservation renowned for their pioneering preservation methods and tactics.

Later in the day you can relax by the beach, do some shopping and treat yourself to delicious street food. 

At the end of a busy day, unwind at the pool or by the beach before heading for dinner. 

Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 12 

Breakfast at ease amidst the cooling breeze of the Bentota coast.

Spend the day on the beach or take a riveting excursion to the Dutch Fort in Galle. 

Highlights – observe extraordinary Dutch military architecture at the Galle Fort. Emulating the crafted pavements of Europe, the passages at the fort will transport you to a different era. The ramparts overlooking the pristine shores of the ocean elevates its magnificence. Catering to your adventurous spirit, the streets at the Fort maintain a variety of eateries serving both local and international cuisine.

Conclude your eventful day by working on your tan on the warm sands of the Bentota beach, after some fun under the sun indulges in freshly prepared seafood at the restaurant serving dinner.

Day 13 

Prepare yourself for the journey back home by nourishing yourself with a wholesome breakfast. Your transfer to the Bandaranaike International Airport to meet your departure flight will take place immediately.
