DAY 01
Arrival - Colombo

Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, collect your baggage, meet and greet with the chauffeur guide, and proceed on your tour of the island. Transfer to Colombo, check in to the hotel and refresh. In the afternoon, leave for a half day city tour in Colombo. The city tour includes visits to Commercial, Residential and Bazaar areas. Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 02
Habarana

After breakfast, proceed to Habarana. En-route visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation where you could take one of the elephants on a gentle stroll or give it a bath! Definitely, a once in a lifetime experience. Afterwards, continue journey to Habarana. Upon arrival in Habarana, check in to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 03
Sigiriya

Obtain packed breakfast from the hotel and leave for a village trek in Hiriwaduna – a tour through a typical Sri Lankan village, The tour includes a boat ride, a bullock cart ride, a trek, etc. Thereafter, visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sigiriya is a structure rising dramatically from the central plains, the enigmatic rocky outcrop of Sigiriya is perhaps Sri Lanka's single most dramatic sight. Afterwards, return to the hotel and relax.

DAY 04
Dambulla

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to Kandy. En–route visit Dambulla Cave Temple - a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also, stop at a spice garden in Matale to witness spices growing in their natural habitat. Grab this opportunity to learn about spices and their uses in Sri Lankan cuisine. Afterwards, continue journey to Kandy. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to the hotel and refresh. In the afternoon, enjoy sightseeing in Kandy. Visit an Arts & Crafts workshop, an Oriental Market Place, a Bazaar and a Gem Lapidary. Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 05
Kandy

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and visit the Royal Botanical Garden - a haven for scientists and for every nature lover. In the evening, visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and witness a cultural show. Kandy Temple is considered to be one of the holiest and most important places in Buddhist religion. Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 06
Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, proceed to the misty mountains of Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit the famous Ramboda falls and a lush green tea plantation. Join the tea pluckers as they pick the famous tea leaves, before being introduced to the process of manufacturing some of the world’s finest tea. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, engage in a city tour in Sri Lanka’s “Little England”. Afterwards, catch the train to Ella from Nanu Oya. Taking the train to Haputale/Ella is the most famous stretch of train travel in Sri Lanka, and is nearly a tourist attraction in itself. Keep an eye out for the many waterfalls cascading down through the majestic hills. Upon arriving in Haputale, check in and spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy a candle-lit dinner in the hotel. – Optional.

DAY 07
Haputale

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Ella for a day excursion. Visit the Nine Arches Bridge (optional), one of the finest examples of colonial era architecture. You can also visit the Little Adam’s Peak (optional) or the Ella Rock (optional). On completion, return to your accommodation in Haputale.

DAY 08
Yala

After breakfast, check out and Leave for Yala, which is situated 309 kms south of Colombo. En-route, visit Ravana Falls. Upon arrival in Yala, check in and refresh. Spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 09
Weligama

Obtain packed breakfast from the hotel and leave for a jeep safari in Yala. Yala is mainly popular for leopards, elephants, bears, crocodiles and wild boars. It is also considered to have the highest concentration of leopards in the world. After enjoying the safari, return to the hotel. After refreshing, check out and proceed to Weligama. Upon arrival at Weligama, check in and spend the evening at leisure.

Departure
